Our on site consultancy and support services are designed to provide the specialist knowledge and expertise your small business needs to get the most out from their IT.
We know that most small businesses don’t necessarily care about what technology is used; just that it enables employees to work more productively, gives them a competitive edge over the competition or just simply makes their lives easier. With this in mind, our approach is to focus on end solutions to assist your business.
Some functions we have performed for recent clients:
- Design and install new Cat5 cabling for combined telephone and computing use
- Assess security arrangements for IT systems and make necessary changes to ensure safety of company information, reliability of systems and compliance with Data Protection regulations.
- Specify, build and configure Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 systems
- Configure centrally managed email and shared calendars using Microsoft Exchange
- Specify and configure PCs from major manufacturers (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc)
- Allow remote access from authorised users outside the building to e-mail, internal websites or their desktop PC at work.
- Train designated employee(s) of client company in ‘Power User’ role to deal with everyday admin such as changing passwords, adding new users and connecting PCs to the network
- Provide ongoing telephone and on-site support, as well as troubleshoot many on-site issues remotely via the Internet
